PTSA is excited to bring back the Wolf Pack Book Club for grades 2nd-5th as an extracurricular activity!
The WWE Wolf Pack Book Club will meet once a week during the lunch period only (all readers will go to recess!) for 8 weeks, starting September 29th. Meetings in each grade will take place on Tuesdays (September 29; October 6, 20, 27; November 3, 10 and 17; no meeting 10/13 for Fall Break).
The book club is designed for all reading levels and books have been vetted with grade-level teachers. Students will need to read assigned chapters prior to each book club session. Cost to participate is $15/student and includes a copy of the book (if needed) and a PIZZA PARTY at the last meeting. (If you already have a copy of the book and do not wish to purchase another, please indicate so below and pay $7.50 to cover the cost of the pizza party and supplies.)
Parent volunteers are needed to lead grade-level book club meetings. Reading guides, lesson plans and activities will be provided to book club leaders, and this is a unique opportunity to connect with your child and their classmates.
