Ms. Katsampes and Ms. Duncan made good on their promise for PWTP by having a crazy hair day, kissing an alpaca, and hitting the ‘bobsled’ hill for the Olympic sport in getting doused in all sorts of silly stuff, including slime! Our Wolves also read more minutes than Fairmount Elementary's students
and won the ‘traveling’ trophy.

Supporting Our Marshall Fire Neighbors
Following the Marshall Fires, WWE PTSA has identified initial ways to help support those impacted by the fires. Carrie Cornejo, Principal at Meiklejohn Elementary in Arvada, and her family lost their home to the fire. At PTSA’s meeting this week, members voted to donate $500 to the Cornejo family. The Cornejo’s also have a GoFundMe page setup here if you’d like to contribute. In addition, Monarch K-8 in Louisville had several staff that were impacted by the fire and has created a MealTrain to provide them lunch. PTSA members voted to provide lunch for their staff and is scheduled to do so on Fri., Jan. 28th.
PTSA and Student Council will continue to look for other ways to help support victims of the fire over the coming months.

New WWE Turf Installed!
BEFORE AFTER
Over Thanksgiving break, new Astroturf was installed on the west side of the playground! The area is now usable year-round without any issue of muddy or wet conditions. This completes PTSA’s final phase of the Outdoor Learning Environment project. Thank you, WWE families who helped, raise funds, and gave their time over the years to make this happen! WWE students are already loving it and many more students will enjoy it in the years to come!
